In a relationship, certain decisions should be made together. What bothers me most is that you didn't discuss your discomforts with your girlfriend until after you had made the decision to move out. Perhaps had you discussed this possibility with her before you made a decision, the two of you could have reached some sort of compromise- maybe there are some specific reasons why you don't want to live there that could be resolved, or you could make some sort of agreement about how often you would stay the night to maintain intimacy.
