In case you are wondering what women love about men, here is a short list of things guys do that we think are terrific:

We like it when you:

1. Dance!

You have no idea how thrilling it is to dance with a man who knows how to move. A well-executed slow dance can make her go weak in the knees and beg for more. If you know how to ballroom dance, that’s even better. There’s nothing quite like moving as one with a man on a dance floor.
2. Do guy stuff like change a tire, assemble the grill, fix the squeaky door, etc.

It’s not that we’re not capable of doing that stuff ourselves, but it sure is nice when you take care of it. That gives us more time for important things like painting our nails or going shopping.
3. Are polite!

Maybe it seems old-fashioned and not in keeping with women’s lib (does anyone still use that expression?) but we like it when a man opens a door for us, pulls out our chair, helps us with our coat, etc. This is basic courtesy stuff that never goes out of style.
4. Dress nicely.

You don’t have to dress up every day but boy do we enjoy the look of you all cleaned up and wearing something besides jeans, holey t-shirts, or dirty sweats. We also REALLY appreciate it when you practice good grooming habits.

5. Get along with your mother.

Life is easier for everyone if you have a good relationship with your mother.
6. Cry sometimes.

A man who isn't afraid to show his emotions is powerfully attractive. We know how hard it can be for a guy to cry so when it happens, our hearts sing with love for you. (No kidding!)
7. Take care of yourself.

The older you get, the more sense it makes to be health-conscious so it’s great when you take the initiative to exercise and eat a healthier diet.
8. Make us feel safe at night.

Things that go bump in the night aren’t nearly as scary when your guy is right next to you in bed. Women love to feel safe with you.
9. Have a sense of humor.

Life is better when you make us laugh. Just don’t repeat the same joke too many times!

10. Are hands-on fathers.

Men who enjoy their children and jump right in with the nitty gritty stuff of child care are tops!
11. Do most of the driving.

I am a perfectly capable driver but I like the feeling I get when my significant other takes the wheel when we go somewhere together.
12. Take care of us when we’re sick.

It’s a big relief and great comfort when you take good care of your woman when she’s sick by doing things like making runs to the drug store, serving chicken soup and hot tea in bed, dealing with all the household chores and keeping kids away, etc.
