Does Size Really Matter?
Okay, here's a mini quiz about whether or not size matters:
What's more important for satisfying a woman in bed?
- An extra-large penis
- Great love-making skills
- Both
The correct answer is b. Once and for all, it isn't necessary to have a huge member in order to be a great lover. There is however, some info that might surprise you.
According to one study, a majority of women agreed that width was more important than length. The study went on to say:
"It is not obvious why a wide penis would be preferred to a long penis, but speculation suggests that width may be important due to a penis thick at the base providing greater clitoral stimulation as the male thrusts into the female during sexual intercourse. That is, a wide penis would seem to offer a greater degree of contact with the outer part of the vagina, including the clitoral area."
This study still focuses on size, but understand that the vagina can accommodate just about any penis. Average or smaller length penises work fine and, in fact, huge penises don't necessarily have such a great advantage because they can cause discomfort. It's also harder for a woman to perform oral sex on a tree trunk-sized penis. (Not to mention it's harder to have anal sex, if you're into that.)
 | Another important thing to remember is that most women, up to 75 percent, need clitoral stimulation and are unable to have an orgasm through intercourse alone. Even women who do orgasm through vaginal intercourse still need the right position to provide clitoral stimulation.
Now, back to the love-making skills mentioned above. You could be the studliest looking guy with a porn-sized boner but if you don't know squat about foreplay, oral sex, being affectionate, how to touch women, how to give a great massage, and how to be a great kisser, forget it! We’d rather curl up on the couch alone with a pint of chocolate Haagen Daz than go to bed with you. Give us a guy with an average or even smallish penis but who has all the right sexual skills and we'll be much happier.
So please don't fret about how you stack up. In fact, if you have a tendency to worry about how big you are, your confidence is likely to suffer, which a woman can easily sense. Confidence in bed is obvious to women and conversely, low confidence is a turn-off.
Still curious about how you compare to other men? Here are the stats:
- the average erect penis length is 5.5 to 6.5 inches
- the average circumference is 4.5 to 5 inches

- Average number of calories in a teaspoon of semen: 7
