Same scenario just from the other end

My girlfriend and I have been living together for almost a year and as I type, she is off signing lease papers to move out. To spare you the details of the whole story, I'll just say I'm going to do my best to make the most of it and maybe find a new begining and if she wants to be a part of it she can but I want an effort from her instead of what I feel is a very selfish move at this point. I saw a quote from someone that gave me a new outlook on the whole situation "Look out for your interest, and let no one put you on hold, as she is looking out for herself." I am applying for jobs in another town in hopes that maybe the best hasn't come and gone. If you care about her let her know and do your best not to lose someone that may be your best friend.
